Michael was appointed a partner of Daley & Co in 1999, after starting his accounting career with the firm in 1990 as part of a traineeship programme. During this time Michael has delivered a broad range of services and advice to his long standing clients.
Michael is one of firm's taxation and business services partners, which entails providing services and advice in the areas of taxation compliance, management accounting and other services to small business. He assists clients with superannuation planning and advice and business planning and advice. As a result Michael currently services a wide portfolio of clients including transport/haulage companies, trade unions, government funded organisations, clubs, small-to-medium private businesses and professionals. He has many years experience in the provision of income tax, CGT, FBT, GST and payroll tax advice. Michael conducts audit assurance engagements and has been involved on special engagements such as litigation support and valuations.
Michael has a very strong knowledge in computer systems and networks including software systems such as MYOB and QuickBooks. For more than 15 years Michael has been providing concise and understandable advice and assistance to his clients and believes his experience can fit and benefit any business - no matter how big or small. Michael enjoys all forms of sport, with watching motor sport and playing competitive soccer and tennis being at the top of the list.
