Lachlan Smith joined the Bowral office in February 2006. Born and raised in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Lachlan completed his HSC at Moss Vale High School in 2005 before joining Daley as a trainee at the firm’s Bowral office in 2006. His education continued at the local satellite campus of the University of Wollongong, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) in 2011 before going on to complete the CA program and be admitted as a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) in 2014. Since then, he has been working predominantly with small to medium size business clients across a range of different industry segments providing tax and business advisory services. Lachlan has a particular interest in assisting local businesses with improving their accounting processes through the implementation of cloud-based systems. He is passionate about working closely with clients to help achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Lachlan enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as watching or playing football and still enjoys playing in the local amateur league with his childhood club, Moss Vale Soccer Club.
