About the role:

Daley is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Wollongong, NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your accounting career with a respected firm within our business services and corporate advisory teams. You will work in a full-time capacity, offering the opportunity to take on greater responsibility whilst continuing to develop your professional expertise.

You will provide high-quality accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, working on a range of accounting, tax and advisory matters. This role offers excellent career progression potential, the chance to work with experienced professionals in a supportive environment all with invaluable exposure to real-world business scenarios from day one.


What we’re looking for:

  1. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting or professional services firm.
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) or near completion.
  3. Membership with a recognised professional accounting body (CA / CPA) or working towards membership.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
  5. Proficiency with accounting software including MYOB, APS, Xero, Class, QuickBooks and M365.
  6. A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to professional development.
  7. Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  8. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues.
  9. Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  11. Passionate about building strong client relationships and supporting clients to achieve their financial goals.
  12. Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
